One of my favorite things about being a school counselor is having the opportunity to work so closely with our students, families, and the Saint Joseph community as a whole. I strive to create an environment where our students feel safe and respected. When working with students, I use a strengths-based approach to help students gain insight and learn important social-emotional skills through individual counseling and classroom instruction. My goal as a counselor is to help all students achieve growth and build confidence to overcome obstacles to personal and academic success; what that looks like and how that progresses will be unique to every student.
